MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION – The mass media society of our time maintains itself by constant actions and reactions. New technologies generate new access and different user behaviour. Traditional communication channels interact closely with new forms of communication. Communication in separate channels is a thing of the past. New technologies generate composite environments in virtual reality. Market research makes use of these opportunities; however, new communication and art forms and innovative journalistic approaches are also generated. Language, sounds, and both moving and stationary images are communicated cross-medially.

With interdisciplinary cooperation, Nuremberg Tech provides training in the Faculties of Design and Business Administration, as well as in the Journalism of Technology degree programme, and is involved in media research and in the development of new designs in a mass media world.
