DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE – We live in an ageing society and are becoming increasingly older. Research on living a healthy life for as long as possible has great value for each of us as individuals, but also enormous significance for the national economy. Demographic development is triggering new market developments. There is an increased need for services, intelligent aids, and products that are geared towards the specific needs of an ageing society. At the same time, the number of people who have grown up with digital solutions to various issues and challenges is increasing.

In this context, Nuremberg Tech is developing innovative products and services which will act as pilot and transfer projects for the development of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.

Research is carried out into the manifestations of and the strategies and technologies used to contend with and manage demographic change, as well as diversity and equal opportunity.
