Czechia: 15th Summer University in Prague | Application deadline: 13 May 2024

The call for applications for the 15th Summer University in Prague "Conflicts, polarization, and international institutions: the world between the old and new order" has started. Summer University is hosted by Charles University from 1st September to 13th September 2024.

The key objective of the Summer University is to understand the reasons for the emergence of conflicts in the contemporary world with examples of contemporary types of conflicts in the world (the Post-Soviet space, the Balkans, the Middle East). Related to this is an understanding of the reasons for social and political polarisation - both in European society and in the United States. Populism is partly behind the polarisation itself - it is therefore necessary to understand its origins and patterns.

This summer university provides opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and serves as a platform for scholars to demonstrate their expertise, and fostering connections among individuals who share similar interests both within the university and, notably, internationally.
