Each year, Nuremberg Institute of Technology (Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm) welcomes exchange students who spend one or two semesters at Nuremberg Tech based on the university’s cooperation agreements, which are more than 160 in number.
The university warmly invites international exchange students to take part in student life here in Nuremberg.
Not only will they gain new academic experiences, they will also have the opportunity to learn about German culture, to meet other international students, and to expand their personal horizon. Our aim is not only to help exchange students get used to their everyday routine as students, but to help them achieve their academic objectives. Academic support is provided by the academic coordinators in the various Faculties.
During your stay, the International Office will help you with your accommodation in a hall of residence, with opening a bank account, and with issues regarding health insurance and liability insurance.
We will also assist you with the various processes that apply to foreign nationals. We also offer a varied programme of cultural and leisure activities and are there for you if ever you need advice.
