Nuremberg Tech welcomes new exchange students

29 September 2021

The International Office is pleased to welcome the new exchange students in the winter semester 2021 at Nuremberg Tech. Students from Europe, within the Erasmus programme framework, and students from Turkey, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, and the USA are joining us on campus.

Entry requirements are complicated again this semester due to the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the new exchange students have already arrived in Nuremberg. The other new incomings are still in their home countries and have planned to arrive in Germany in time for the start of the semester. Exchange students at Nuremberg Tech are supported by volunteer buddies who comprise the membership of our so-called Club International. They provide support to exchange students before they arrive in Germany and assist them during their entire stay in Nuremberg.

The International Office is pleased to be able to greet the new incoming exchange students next week in person. On 5 and 6 October two orientation events will take place that will provide information to the new students about living in Germany and studying at Nuremberg Tech. The members of Club International have planned a campus tour following these events for the new exchange students.

Despite the current restrictions, the new incomings are looking forward to their exchange semester at our university
