The topics addressed by architecture and urban planning are diverse, complex, and far-reaching. Social and societal change, the sparing use of resources required for urban and rural structures, economic upheaval, and technical possibilities demand a constant stream of new, individual solutions. The aim of the degree programme is to support students in their efforts to find such solutions and in their aesthetic expression of design and to work together with them to develop strategies to ensure high design quality in the long term. In this way, students will develop socially responsible behaviours for architecture and urban planning.
