New coronavirus regulations in Bavaria as of 3 April

The 16th Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance ( “Bayerische Infektionsschutzmaßnahmenverordnung”) has been in effect since 3 April. As of 1 May, additional reductions in mitigation measures have been defined. 

The current regulations at Nuremberg Tech include: 

  • Masks are recommended, if the minimum physical distance of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained.
  • No 3G rules or controls.
  • Students who are pregnant may participate in lectures or courses on campus, if they wish to do so.
  • If you develop symptoms, remain at home until a diagnostic assessment is clear. If a COVID infection is detected, you may not enter the university premises.

Please observe the AHA+L measures:

  • “Abstand halten” (maintain physical distance): Maintain a physical distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and others and avoid close contact with other people.
  • “Hygiene beachten” (observe hygiene regulations): Refrain from shaking hands, wash your hands regularly with soap and water (at least 20 seconds), cough or sneeze into your elbow or a disposable tissue, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
  • “Alltagsmaske tragen” (wear a face mask): Please observe the mask recommendation in all Nuremberg Tech buildings.
  • “Lüften” (ventilate): Ventilate rooms for several minutes in regular intervals.
